License

PicLet is free and open-source software licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). This means:

  • You can use PicLet for any purpose, including commercial
  • You can modify and distribute PicLet, provided you keep it open source
  • If you modify PicLet and make it available over a network, you must release your source code
  • You must include the original copyright notice and license

Service Usage

By using PicLet, you agree to use it responsibly and lawfully:

  • Only process images you have the right to modify and distribute
  • Do not use PicLet for illegal purposes
  • Do not attempt to abuse or overload the service
  • Do not reverse engineer security measures or attempt unauthorized access

Disclaimer of Warranties

PicLet is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about:

  • The availability or uptime of the service
  • The accuracy or quality of image processing results
  • Fitness for any particular purpose
  • Freedom from bugs or errors

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of PicLet, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or images
  • Business interruption
  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Any damages resulting from unauthorized access

Your Content

You retain all rights to your images. PicLet does not claim any ownership or license to images you process. As stated in our Privacy Policy, your images are processed temporarily and never stored.

Local Storage

Certain features may store configuration data in your browser's local storage. This data remains on your device and is your responsibility to manage. We are not liable for any data loss from local storage.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of PicLet after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The current version is always available at this URL.
